NEW ECHIDNA IN TOWN

Dingo is still trying to put the two emerald pieces together, but finally the energy is too much for him and he's sent flying into wall. Meanwhile, the chaos energy unleashed this time rocks the hedgehogs' van and Sonia says that they have to find Knuckles before Robotnik does. When they get back to the spot they left, they notice no one is around and Manic says that Sleet must have gotten Knuckles. Sonia starts to worry (she starts shedding tears).

Meanwhile, Robotnik is congratulating Sleet for capturing Knuckles, who then informs Robotnik that he's there of his own accord to make a deal. Robotnik says that he doesn't make deals and wants to know why he should make one with Knuckles anyway. Knuckles tells Robotnik he knows how to contain the emerald and that if they work together they can end the chaos and he knows that Robotnik cares about his empire. Robotnik says that Knuckles has to help him capture the hedgehogs or else he won't help stop the chaos. Robotnik promises that he won't roboticize them, but if he can't have the hedgehogs he rather have the planet be destroyed. So Knuckles agrees to help Robotnik capture the hedgehogs in exchange for saving the planet.

Sonic, Sonia, and Manic are discussing what they should do when some more chaos energy heads toward them. They hide under the van as the energy goes over them. Suddenly, Knuckles appears, which makes Sonia very happy, and he tells them that he thinks he knows where the emerald is. So they drive off in the van going through the passage between the mountains. However, Robotnik is waiting for them and has his robots fire glue, which gums up the wheels of the van. When the hedgehogs go outside to see what caused them to stop, the robots fire glue on them. Robotnik thanks Knuckles for his help and then decides to have the hedgehogs roboticized starting with Sonia. That wasn't a part of the deal and Knuckles trashes one robot and takes the glue gun and uses it to knock the other robot into the roboticizer. The roboticizer blows up burying Robotnik in its debris while Knuckles puts the glue gun in reverse and removes the glue from the hedgehogs and the van. They leave, but there's lava headed for them and they can't go backwards because Robotnik is following them. Knuckles then digs a tunnel so that they avoid the lava, while Robotnik and Sleet have to go in reverse to stay away from the lava.

Knuckles feels guilty for trusting Robotnik, but Sonia says she probably would've done the same thing too, while Sonic reminds them that they still have to find the emerald. They continue driving and they see a green light which they figure is the emerald. Sonic takes the canister from Knuckles and heads out to check. Sonic reaches the spot and finds Dingo and the emerald shards, when Sleet arrives. Sleet has a robot grab the emerald shards and then uses his remote gadget to turn Dingo into a container and has the robot put the emerald pieces inside. Sonic says that won't contain the power of chaos emeralds and that only the canister will, but Sleet ignores him. Suddenly, Dingo starts mutating into an enormous monster. Sonic tells Sleet to morph Dingo into something, but the remote doesn't work. Sonic runs off to get help, while Sleet asks Dingo what he wants. Dingo says that he wants "Chaos."

Sonic meets up with Sonia, Manic, and Knuckles as the Chaos-powered Dingo starts blasting the mountain tops and creates hammers with his hands to also mash the peaks. Sonic tries to stop him by blasting Dingo with his guitar, but it has no effect other than to make Dingo angry and try to mash the group. Manic tries his drum set, but that doesn't work either and Dingo creates an earthquake, which breaks up Manic's drum set, and then heads off to Robotropolis. Robotnik arrives and orders his robots to get the hedgehogs, despite being told that Dingo swallowed the emerald pieces and is about to wreak Robotropolis. Sonic plays on Robotnik's ego saying that he's letting Dingo "make a monkey" out of him by allowing Dingo to get away with stealing from him. Sonic tells Robotnik that he has a plan to put Dingo in his place, which Robotnik agrees to do.

Dingo is about to blast Robotropolis, when Manic starts playing his drums, then Sonic and Sonia join in with their individual instruments and begin singing this episode's song "Mobius Song." Robotnik's robots use their glue guns to stick Dingo to the ground. Sonic then pushes Robotnik close to Dingo, who's losing his balance. Dingo falls on top of Robotnik and spits out the emerald pieces, which Knuckles catches with the canister and the planet and Dingo revert back to normal. Robotnik tells Dingo he's going to roboticize him for stealing the emerald, letting Sonic escape, and for flattening him and then tells Dingo "No more Mr. Nice Guy!"

Knuckles, Sonic, Sonia, and Manic bring the canister to Athair for safe keeping, but Athair says that Knuckles has to watch it on the Floating Island. Athair says that Knuckles' duties deal with the Floating Island, while the hedgehogs belong with the Resistance. Knuckles tells Sonia that if they ever need a break they can always visit and she tells him that he can sit in with the band anytime. Sonia then gives Knuckles a kiss on the cheek and the episode ends with the two looking at the Floating Island in the distance.
