This is the place where our favorite echidna was born! On February 2, 1994, Sonic 3 came out on Genesis/Megadrive introducing to the world Knuckles the Echidna (ナックルズ・ザ・エキドゥナ), who forever changed Sonic's world. Knuckles is truly independent and owes loyalty to no one. His duty is to guard the Master Emerald of Angel Island and Knuckles will beat up Robotnik/Eggman or Sonic to do his job.
